Made In America

Majilite Corporation, a subsidiary of Meridian Industries of Milwaukee Wisconsin, is committed to supporting the American worker. Meridian’s 17 manufacturing plants are located only in the USA, and employ over 2,000 American workers.

We proudly invest in the American worker who provides some of the greatest working spirit and commitment to advancement and ingenuity known in the industrial world.

What Made-In-America means to our customers:

  • Jobs for the American economy
  • Consistent Quality and Craftsmanship from US workers
  • Products from workers protected from unsafe Work Conditions
  • Products not made with Child Labor
  • Products made under the most stringent Environmental Regulations
  • Smaller carbon footprint and more reliable logistics from domestic sources.

For Majilite, manufacturing high tech films and coated fabrics for the aerospace, transportation and marine industries in the USA simply makes good business sense.

Majilite has been producing proprietary film and fabric products in America since 1940, and holds the distinction of being one of the only compounding manufacturers in the USA that designs and manufactures high technology polyurethane films and synthetic leather fabrics for use worldwide.

All of our designing and manufacturing is done in the USA. When possible, we also obtain materials from domestic sources, further supporting the American worker and reducing our carbon footprint. Each product may have a different domestic content, and that content percentage can be supplied upon request, when the request is made before the order is placed.

Most of our products meet the requirements of the Buy American Act (41 U.S.C. 10a-10c) and can be designated as “Made in USA of US and foreign components”. Majilite is also committed to expanding our manufacturing capabilities so that certain of our products will soon meet the Berry Amendment (10 U.S.C. 2533a) requirements.
